The Forecast
I don`t know about you, but by Ground Hog Day I`m ready for Spring.  The warm temperatures will be a welcome change from ice and snow!
Spring is a wonderful time when birds, blooms, and blossoms burst forth in all their springtime splendor.  Life seems to begin anew as the world changes before our eyes.
Regardless of how long winters lasts, or whatever the “Groundhog” has to say, the Word of God tells us that as long as the earth remains, “seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease (Genesis 8:22).”
So no matter how long winter seems to last, take heart…Spring is on the way! (jw)

Known by Our Love….
A song in the 60`s told us “What the world needs now is love sweet love…”.  Yet four decades later, the world is no better for the physical love that has been promoted and abused by society.
What the world needs NOW is the love of God in their hearts and minds, and it is the job of the Church to be vessels of that love.
Jesus gave us a new commandment, “…love one another as I d you” (John 13:34).  When we operate in His love, man will know that we are followers of Christ.
As the world celebrates it`s own form of love, how about you and I celebrating the love of God that is shed abroad in our hearts (Romans 5:5)?  Let`s share it with the world and show them the Christ who dwells within us. (jw)
“(Jesus said)
…love one another as I d you.”

Pray for Our Leaders
No matter how you voted in the last election, and all politics aside, every believer has been called upon to pray for our leaders.
Our President is included in that call from the Lord, and not just on President`s Day, but every day.  Like all presidents before him, his job is a difficult one on a good day, and we must uphold him in prayer.
America was blessed from it`s foundation with Godly men who governed wisely, scripturally, and with prayer.  With God`s loving grace, we can once again live in a healed, blessed, and Godly nation.  Just remember this as you pray Proverbs 21:1. (jw)
“The king`s heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water; He turns it whatever He wills.”
