Prayer for Guidance
There are many times when believers seek God for direction, but often we forget to include Him in the “little things”.
Even though we think we have a handle on things, God still sees the entire picture and wants to be a part of everything in your life.  It`s important to Him.
No matter what life seems to throw at us, we need to remember God hears our prayers for guidance and is attentive to our tears and frustration.
Rejoice in the Lord that your answer is on the way, as you seek guidance in prayer and stay in the Word.  Your answer will come and you will hear clearly from God. (cw)
“But let all those who put their trust in You rejoice.” (Psalm 5:11)

Thanksgiving Prayer
Heavenly Father, we dedicate this day as a time of prayer and thanksgiving to You.  We thank You for sending Jesus to pay the price for our sins, and that by His shed blood we can be presented spotless before You.
Lord we thank You for the abundance of all good things that You have given us to enjoy.  We praise You for our families and our freedom.  We thank You for our health and healing and for the joy of the Lord which is our strength.
Help us to realize that every day is a day of thanksgiving.  Every day is an opportunity to offer up praises to our Heavenly Father.
Lord thank You for this day and for Your grace and mercies that are new every morning.  We love you, give You praise and thanksgiving in Jesus` Name, Amen. (jw)

A Christmas Prayer
I said a Christmas prayer for you because the season is near.  I didn`t ask for riches but for gifts so much more dear.  I asked for joyful gatherings with your family all around, and for carols to inspire you with their old familiar sounds.  I asked for quiet moments in your heart on Christmas morn, for a special time to celebrate the Savior who was born.  I asked for friends to send their best that you might know they care;  I asked for peace and love and hope and
I know God heard my prayer.

“And this is my prayer, that your love may overflow more and more.”
